This is very close to the same results as we are experiencing with our vendor (see XML scripting 1 & 2). Replace the ‘consultants’ in the article with our vendor and it is the same story. Their solution runs some 100-500 times slower than ours, took 4 years vs. our 2 months to build and what happens? They get 6 brand new servers to try out their latest and greatest code to run on.
Unbelievable.
