Haven't heard of QuickSilver before. I'm definitely going to get a copy of Parallels though. I do have a couple games a play once in a while and I have some other PC only software that I would love to take advantage of the 4gb of ram I plan to put into it. Hmm. The video player is bundled (iDVD). The video editing software as well (iMovie). A lot of the stuff you're accustomed to downloading for Windows will be included. Get QuickSilver and be sure to install the XCode tools off your DVD. That'll take a long time. I use Adium instead of iChat for my IM. It has better multi-account support.
