Chip Reese dies at 56
According to PokerNews.com, Chip Reese has passed away at the age of 56. A legend in the poker community, Chip won the 2006 $50,000 HORSE event and was considered one of the top cash game players in the world.
I never got to meet him in person, but as a cash player I was hoping he might make an appearance on GSN’s High Stakes Poker. From what I understand he was very well respected amongst the top pros. One of those players that every one just likes.
A sad day for the poker community.
