Amzon’s S3 gets a competitor
And it isn’t Google darn it. TechCrunch is reporting that Nirvanix is building a competitor to Amazon’s S3 storage service. They are affiliated with MediaMax, have a new CEO — Patrick Harr from MediaMax — and secured some 12 million in funding.
I still wish Google would jump in this space, which I’m sure they could do fairly easily given their infrastructure.
